SAR system Technical Specifications

Data Acquisition: The PERCI-SAR System will acquire up to 6 input data channels simultaneously and is capable of displaying up to 3 of these channels in real time during acquisition as feedback to the user or the patient. There are 4 standard speed data channels (100 to 1000Hz sample rate),one medium speed auxiliary channel(100 to 5000Hz sample rate), and one high speed data channel(10KHz to 25KHz sample rate). All of the channels may be filtered (active 90db per octave). Four channels have fixed filters, the high speed data channel has a programmable low pass filter (44Hz to 10KHz) and the auxiliary channel has no filter.    Analog to digital converter resolution is 16 bits for the USB version.

Flow Calibration:  The PERCI-SAR system offer two possible methods of flow calibration, steady state flow calibration (single or two point) OR flow calibration using a one liter volume syringe. The standard calibration mode is Volume and MicroTronics supplies the 1 liter syringe for using this method.  For users who wish to use  a steady state flow calibration,  MicroTronics will supply a rotameter in lieu of the 1 liter volume calibration syringe.  This will reduce system cost by approximately $300, however this option requires that user must have a captured air source available (metered and regulated).  Please contact MicroTronics for more information on this option.
